Transfer List

This page is where you track and manage other financial inflows of your business. It serves as a centralized hub for recording, reviewing, and analyzing income transactions, helping you maintain financial oversight.

 

Key components of the Transfer page include:

  • Transfer List: Displays all product transfers with details such as transfer date, origin warehouse, destination warehouse, and status.
  • Initiate Transfer: Start a new transfer by selecting the ‘Add Transfer button’
  • Transfer Status: Track the status of each transfer, such as:
    • Pending: Transfer has been initiated but not yet dispatched.
    • In Transit: Products are currently being moved between warehouses.
    • Completed: Transfer is finalized, and inventory has been updated.
  • Tracking Information: Option to add tracking details for in-transit transfers.
  • Search and Filter: Filter transfers by date, product or origin/destination warehouse.
  • Transfer Notes: Leave additional remarks or instructions related to the transfer.
  • Export Data: Export transfer records for reporting and analysis.
How to add a Transfer?
  1. Select the date of the transfer by clicking on the "Choose date" field.
  2. Choose the warehouse from which the products will be transferred by selecting an option in the "From Warehouse" dropdown menu.
  3. Choose the warehouse to which the products will be transferred by selecting an option in the "To Warehouse" dropdown menu.
  4. Select the appropriate status for this transfer:
    1. Completed: The transfer is now/ already complete.
    2. Pending: If the transfer is still ongoing.
    3. Sent: If you just initiated the transfer and the process has not yet started.
  5. To add products to the transfer, type the product code into the "Product Code" field and press enter or click on the suggested product name that appears below the field.
  6. In the "Order Table" section, you can see the details of the products that have been added to the transfer, including their names, codes/SKUs, batch numbers, quantities, net unit costs, taxes, and subtotals.
  7. If you need to attach any documents related to the transfer, such as invoices or receipts, click on the "Attach Document" button and choose the file you want to upload.
  8. Enter any shipping costs incurred/ to be incurred during the transfer.
  9. If you have any additional notes about the transfer, you can include them in the "Note" field at the bottom of the form.
  10. Once you have filled out all the required fields, click on the "Submit" button to complete the transfer.

Notes: It's important to note that some of the fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required input fields, so make sure to fill them out before submitting the transfer.

How to import Transfers
  1. Select the source and destination warehouses for the transfer by choosing options from the "From Warehouse" and "To Warehouse" dropdown menus respectively.
  2. Choose the status of the transfer (e.g., "Completed") from the "Status" dropdown menu.
  3. Click on the "Upload CSV File" field and select the CSV file containing the details of the products being transferred.
  4. Download the sample file provided by clicking on the "Download Sample File" button if needed.
  5. Fill in any additional information such as shipping cost and attach relevant documents if necessary.
  6. Enter any notes regarding the transfer in the "Note" field.
  7. Click on the "submit" button to complete the import process.
